Typika Said at Home in the Absence of Clergy
This is not going to be the same as attending Orthros and the Divine Liturgy, but actually doing this short worship service at home is going to be far more effective than simply watching the Divine Liturgy on Live Stream or YouTube. There are times when we will most certainly want to view a Divine Liturgy online; however, especially if you have children or young people in your family, if you decide to watch a service rather than actually offering a service, then, when all this is over, those children and young people are going to want to know why they just can’t stay home and catch a liturgy on their laptop or phone.
